THE REGULAR CINEPASS and THE STUDENT CINEPASS
Valid for one (1) person. Includes : Access to all regular screenings, special screenings, regular activities and film classes; one (1) catalogue; one (1) poster. Excludes: Prestige screenings (Opening Film, Awards Ceremony Film, Red Carpet Film, Concert Film and any other screening announced by the Festival); VIP cocktails; any other screening or activity announced by the Festival. Limited quantities available. The Student CinePass is for students under 30 years old. Proof of student status will be required when you pick up your CinePass.
THE CINEPASS PLUS
Valid for one (1) person. Includes: Access to all regular screenings, special screenings, regular activities and film classes; the Opening Film; the Awards Ceremony Film; the Red Carpet Film; one (1) catalogue; one (1) poster. Excludes: VIP cocktails; the Concert Film; any other screening or activity announced by the Festival. Limited quantities available.
THE SPRINT CINEPASS
Valid for one (1) person for a specific period of time. Specific Terms of Use dans Condition are available on demand. Limited quantities available.
THE VIP CINEPASS
Valid for one (1) person. Includes: Prioritary access to all regular screenings, special screenings, regular activities and film classes; VIP cocktails; Opening Film and Awards Ceremony Film, with reserved seating at Palais Montcalm; open bar for parties at Le 964; one (1) catalogue; one (1) poster. Excludes: The Concert Film; any screening or activity announced by the festival. Limited quantities available. A tax receipt for a charitable donation will be issued upon request. The amount is determined by subtracting the monetary value of goods and services from the price of purchase. To take advantage of the open bar, VIP CinePass holders must register at the bar at the beginning of each evening. Only that person can benefit from the advantage. Any breach of the procedure will result in revocation of the benefit for the duration of the festival. VIP CinePass holders must arrive at least 15 minutes before screenings to benefit from priority access at the venue.
THE VIP NIGHT
Valid for one (1) VIP Night (Opening evening or Awards Ceremony evening) for one (1) person. Includes: The VIP cocktail; the Opening Film or Awards Ceremony Film, with reserved seating at Palais Montcalm. Limited quantities available. A tax receipt for a charitable donation will be issued upon request. The amount is determined by subtracting the monetary value of goods and services from the price of purchase.
THE TICKET - PRESTIGE SCREENING
Valid for ont (1) Prestige screening for one (1) person. Prestige screenings includes the Opening Film, the Awards Ceremony Film and any other screening announced by the Festival. Limited quantities available.
THE TICKET - REGULAR SCREENING
Valid for one (1) regular screening for one (1) person. Students under 30 years old with a student ID receive a discount of $2 on regular presentation tickets. Proof of student status and ID card will be required when you buy or pick up your ticket. Limited quantities available.
THE TICKET - SPECIAL SCREENING
Valid for one (1) special screening (Family screening, Tribute screening and any other screening announced by the Festival) for one (1) person. Limited quantities available.
THE TICKET - FILM CLASS
Valid for one (1) film class for one (1) person. Limited quantities available.
DOUBLE PROGRAM
Valid for two (2) consecutive regular screenings at the same venue for the same person. Excludes: Prestige screenings (Opening Film, Awards Ceremony Film and any other screening announced by the Festival); any other screening or activity announced by the Festival. Subject to change without notice. Limited quantities available.
IMPORTANT
Ensure that you carefully check the title of the presentation, the date, time and ticket category prior to purchase. Keep your receipt, it is confirmation of your online purchase. ID may be required to pick up your ticket, accreditation, CinePass or access pass at a QCFF box office. Prices for special evenings, parties, partner-evenings and other parties described may vary. Most films are not classified according to Régie du cinema standards. Viewing is at the participant’s discretion. Suggested minimum age: 13 years, unless otherwise specified by the Festival on its website or in its catalogue, schedule or any communication to that effect. In a case where the work is classified by the Régie, this classification must be respected. All programs are subject to change without notice. Changes will be announced at the venues and on social networks. Unless otherwise stated, foreign works are presented in their original language with French and/or English subtitles. Most venues are accessible to people with reduced mobility. Please send any special requests to info@fcvq.ca when purchasing tickets. Access passes and CinePasses will not be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged. For any questions, comments or complaints about the festival, please contact info@fcvq.ca.
ARRIVE EARLY!
Holders of festival tickets, CinePasses, accreditations or complimentary passes must arrive 15 minutes before presentations to be assured a seat. We cannot reserve a seat for festival visitors who arrive later than 15 minutes before a presentation, even if they have a ticket, CinePass, accreditation or access pass. No refunds will be made in the event that the conditions of these criteria are not respected.
PAYMENT METHODS
Online purchases can only be made by credit card. On site, cash or credit and debit cards are accepted, unless otherwise stated or in case of circumstances that are beyond our control. In which case the Festival is not responsible.
TERMS OF USE OF SALES
QCFF tickets, CinePasses, accreditations and complimentary passes are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. Prices of QCFF tickets, CinePasses, accreditations, catalogues and t-shirts are in Canadian dollars and may include or exclude service charges and all applicable taxes (5% GST and 9.975% QST) and are at the discretion of the festival. All sales are final. Presales take place from July 1st to the Sunday before the festival, at 11:59 PM. Sales continue until the last day of the festival and at regular prices. Prices also apply to children of all ages. Promotions cannot be combined. Student CinePasses are valid for students under 30 years old. A valid student ID is required when you purchase or pick up a Cinepass at a box office. In the case that a student who makes a purchase (online or in person) cannot prove their student status, the festival will be obliged to charge the current regular rate at the time of refusal by the ticket agent and the buyer must pay the difference, if any. Festival visitors must be 18 years or older to be admitted to parties and cocktails, unless otherwise stated. Unless otherwise stated, the QCFF, its suppliers and partners cannot sell merchandise to minors. Minors must be in the presence of an adult to place an order online. No QCFF ticket, CinePass, accreditation or complimentary pass will be mailed. All pre-purchases must be picked up at the main festival box office starting from the Friday before the opening of the festival (subject to change without notice) or at the festival office (see the festival website for more details on pick up location). Tickets purchased on the QCFF’s ticket provider platform are for personal use and cannot be resold under any circumstances. The resale of tickets will make them null and void. Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include shipping, if applicable. In case of discrepancies between the information confirmed at the time of a purchase and the information registered by the QCFF ticket system, the information deemed accurate will be that registered by the QCFF ticket system.
GENERAL TERMS OF USE
Recording films using video or photos is strictly prohibited. The cancellation of the QCFF ticket, CinePass, accreditation or complimentary pass will be immediate, in addition to being reported to the authorities without delay. No food or drink is allowed in venues during presentations, unless otherwise stated. Mobile phones, tablets and electronic devices must be turned off during presentations. The views expressed in the works presented are the sole responsibility of the producers and/or directors. They do not represent the opinion of the QCFF. The QCFF and its partners are allowed to use photos of festival visitors that are taken on the festival sites, including the opinions posted on social networks and with no limitations (audio, video and photo), to be used for promotional, communication and yearly report purposes. Despite the QCFF’s concern for accuracy, errors may occur on its website and in documents issued by the Festival. The QCFF disclaims responsibility for any errors that may be present on its website and in any documents issued by the QCFF.
CANCELLATIONS
In case of cancellation of an event by the QCFF or a third party under its responsibility, the ticket provider will reimburse the ticket upon request by the QCFF. If the event is cancelled and cannot be postponed, buyers will be notified by email and the ticket provider will reimburse the ticket within 15 days. The QCFF will display the necessary information on its website and/or networks. Service fees are not refundable. Note that transactions made on the ticket provider platform appear on your credit card statement in that company’s name. If you contact your credit card institution to challenge the said transaction and the QCFF ticket provider platform demonstrates that you have attended the event, fees may apply.
SECURITY
Bags, coats, handbags and all other objects may be subject to a search at the entrance of the sites. No illegal substance will be accepted on site. The only alcoholic beverages accepted are those sold on site. Our team (staff and volunteers) will be present to ensure the best possible experience at the QCFF. We will not tolerate any rude gesture or comment directed at our team and we will take the necessary measures in case of this type of occurrence. Festival visitors agree to assume all responsibility of risks and dangers that may arise from the event and waive all claims for loss or damage resulting from any cause whatsoever suffered by festival visitors, whether before, during or after the event. QCFF management reserves the right to deny access to the event or expel any person whose behaviour is considered inappropriate, and without refund.
CONFIDENTIALITY
The QCFF is extremely concerned about protecting your personal data. The QCFF takes all the necessary technical, contractual and administrative measures that are commercially reasonable to protect your personal information. The QCFF agrees not to disclose or transmit any personal information to third parties unless it has prior authorization from you. In addition, before disclosing your personal information to third parties, they must commit to strict contractual conditions that require them to maintain the confidentiality of information communicated to them. However, the QCFF will disclose your personal information if it is required to do so by law or a court order or by an authority with the power to force the communication of such personal information, or to protect or defend a legal interest. The information collected is used exclusively by the QCFF. The QCFF agrees not to sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
TERMS OF USE OF THE WEBSITE
QCFF’s website may contain links to other websites that are not managed by the organization. Note that when you leave QCFF’S website, you are not subject to its Terms of use. The QCFF, its website as well as all associated activities reserve the right to change the Terms of Use without prior notice. These Terms of Use are available at all times on QCFF’s website. QCFF’s website only uses cookies to manage sessions and presentation of the website. No confidential information is kept. It is only used for statistical purposes. The entire content of this website is protected under Canadian and international laws on copyright material. It is prohibited to copy, distribute, reproduce and publish information, products or services obtained from the QCFF’s website, or to use elements of the website for commercial or other purposes. The use of the QCFF name and logo is prohibited except with authorization from management.
